Tasting Room

Our friendly Tasting Room staff is here to serve you Monday through Saturday. Stop by and try our fine wines for a tasting fee of only $5.00 (Complimentary to our Wine Club Members). You'll have the opportunity to taste up to six wines (and quite often surprise tastings from a bottle or two we invariably have open), plus you'll get a beautiful Steele wine glass to take home with you. We look forward to meeting you!

Directions to Steele Wines Tasting Room and Winery

We are located on Highway 29 at Thomas Drive, between Kelseyville and Lakeport.

From Highway 101 there are two options:

Option 1: Out of Hopland: Take Highway 175 out of Hopland toward Lakeport. This is a narrow and winding road, so caution is advised (note that this Hopland pass is a well maintained road). Highway 175 ends at Highway 29 where you'll turn right and proceed for approximately 2 miles to Thomas Drive (there will be a Rainbow Feed Store on your left and the left side of Thomas). Turn left on Thomas Dr. and right into the winery parking lot.
 

Option 2: From Highway 101, the Redwood Highway at Ukiah take Highway 20, east towards Clear Lake. Turn right on Highway 29, past Lakeport and left on Thomas Dr. The winery is on the right side of Thomas.

From Napa: On Hwy 29, continue North through Napa and St. Helena. Turn right at the stop-light where 29 hits Calistoga. Drive through Calistoga and continue on Hwy 29 until Middletown. Stay on Hwy 29 North to Lower Lake. At the junction of Hwy 53 and Hwy 29 North, turn left on Hwy 29. Follow Hwy 29 North about 15 miles going past the town of Kelseyville. Turn right on Thomas Drive and an immediate right into our parking lot.
 

From Interstate 5: At Williams, take Highway 20 West. Turn left on Highway 53 to Lower Lake, then right on Highway 29. The winery is aproximately 14 miles on the right at Thomas Dr.
